Soon I will have many new, small friends. A few years ago, my husband and I attended approximately 30 weddings over the span of two summers. Now seems to be the time those couples are ready to add to their families, because I can think of at least 10-15 people who are currently or were recently expecting. To welcome one of those new baby girls, I made this photo album for a shower gift. The cover is handmade paper, made from abaca fibers mixed with a pink and purple striped cotton shirt. The pages are 140 lb. watercolor paper, torn to imitate the deckled edge of handmade paper. Think she'll like it?
