Custom Wedding Album

I have been very excited to finish this album for an upcoming wedding. The lace was mailed to me by the bride and is cut from the fabric her mom is using to make her wedding dress. Paired with the contrasting bookcloth and scalloped edges, I love it, and I hope the bride will too. Best wishes to Katherine & Daniel, June 15, 2012!

The Calendar Project, #253-262

Here is the next grouping for The Calendar Project. Not the most exciting pieces of felt I've made, but it hasn't been the most exciting time of my life lately either! Anyone know why my image is fine on my desktop but when I post it I get weird lines, like in the second image below???

The Calendar Project Caught Up, #194-252

I am OFFICIALLY caught up! One piece of nuno felt for every day--felted, frame built, mounted to frame, hook installed, photographed, phew. Of course now there are recent pieces drying in the studio, so technically there is more to do, but that is the story of making one piece of art every single day. The four months that I was behind is now a thing of the past, and here are the pictures to prove it!
